Who We Are

东京热app (FNUniv) established the Indigenous Continuing Education Centre (ICEC) to strengthen connections, communities and economies through sharing Indigenous knowledge and providing professional development and lifelong learning opportunities.

东京热app seeks to have an ongoing transformative impact through education based on a foundation of Indigenous Knowledge.听The Regina campus is situated on the atim k芒-mihkosit (Red Dog) Urban Reserve, Star Blanket Cree Nation and Treaty 4 Territory.听Star Blanket is the first First Nation in Canada to create an urban reserve specifically dedicated to the advancement of education.听

Situated on Treaty 4 and 6 Territory, the original lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and homeland of the M茅tis Nation.

ICEC creates greater access for non-degree-seeking learners on a path to lifelong education that leads to new opportunities or connections with Indigenous culture and tradition.

ICEC & Truth and Reconciliation

A commitment to reconciliation education.

The Indigenous Continuing Education Centre (ICEC) strongly aligns with national and provincial priorities related to Indigenous issues and opportunities.听

Various levels of government and public and private sectors are focusing on how they can respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s 94 Calls to Action in advancing reconciliation and renewed relationships with Indigenous peoples based on recognition of rights, respect, cooperation, and partnership.听

Course Delivery Methods

Online

Courses can be delivered entirely
online through self-directed
components, allowing flexibility for
self-paced and scheduled
learning and ease of access with no travel required.
On-Site/Workshop

In-person instruction on
campus or customized to
be brought to your location.



Remote

Through virtual instruction
utilizing the technology that
brings the classroom to the
learner. Remote delivery can
include real-time classes of drop-in times.
Hybrid

Through a combination of
online or remote delivery,
with some classroom or in-person activities.


Funding Opportunities

Courses and trainings offered through the Indigenous Continuing Education Centre are non-credit programs which may qualify for听. Please note that this is an employer-driven program. The employer must apply on behalf of their employees.

Badges, Professional Microcredentials, and Professional Certificates qualify for the听,听, and the听.
